ZΩΗ is surrounded by age-old olive trees and luxuriant terraced gardens, where you will find numerous spots to while away your time gazing at the sea and cliffs of Achai bay or working on your tan.
Accessed directly from the main kitchen is an outside kitchen with a barbecue and a vine-covered pergola. Depending on the time of the day and the weather you can easily move to one of the other two dining areas in the grounds. Wherever you choose, long dinners under the moon and stars will be memorable occasions.
"We have had a truly wonderful and relaxing week at your characterful home. We loved the connection between the house and the terrain. It feels like a much loved home rather than all too often found soulless places. Thank you for everything."
Paul & John - London, September 2023"We had a “male” family reunion here at Zoe - aged 48 to 85! All Greek-Americans. Couldn’t have picked a better place - peaceful, beautiful, majestic! The pool, the bocce, the various sitting/lying all - perfect. In summary a fantastic house on a fantastic island. Thank you."
Paolo e Natascia - Milano, Aprile 2018"Fresh lemon juice first in the morning, basil on everything, figs dropping from the skies, mint tea everyday - and all to the sound of the waves - the sun blinking through the cavern in the bay. We are loathe to leave!"
Sean P. - London Aug 2018"“We are made on such stuff as dreams are made on” said William-the-Great and sometimes these dreams come true. This place is one of them, one to live in, drowsy with cicadas, quite hidden under the trees above the bay of Achai, facing the open sea above this ancient theater. A week here and you believe you have been away from the “real world” for months. A true medicine then."
Herve D. - Paris, July 2016"Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful house with us! It is a magical place and we have loved being here. Many thanks. Love Flora."
The W. family - August 2016Built 300 years ago on Paxos West coast with endless views over the Ionian sea, just over Achai bay and its blue caves, Ζωή [pron. zo’i tr. zoe / zoh], life in Greek, has been lovingly and sensitively transformed over time into an intimate home away from home.
Accommodation at ZΩΗ is on two floors and all rooms offer wonderful sea views. The ground floor is home to a welcoming and cosy open-plan living and dining area and a fully-equipped traditional Greek kitchen with table for four and doors leading out to the barbecue and al fresco dining areas.
The ground floor is also home to a double/twin bedroom with en-suite shower room and access to the surrounding terraces.
Stairs lead to the first floor, which also has its own independent access from the grounds. Here there is a double/twin bedroom with gorgeous sea views, a single/double bedroom, a shared shower room, an office space and a breakfast area with fridge.
"Gosh! Just THE most amazing house (no, home!) we could ever wish to have stayed in. Nothing grand or ostentatious, just beautiful, real, peaceful and very, very special. Memories have been made!"
Jamie + Sophie - London Aug 2017"Many thanks for a splendid summer break. Your home is superb. We have enjoyed a fabulous break and are leaving determined to return. Congratulations, a great haven!"
Best wishes from A.M. & F. and family - London, July 2017"We have had a fantastic time, this is a magical place! No real need to explore the island - although we did it of course - but simply wonderful to hang here and enjoy! The gardens/rooms/kitchen/views/sounds - a memorable 50th birthday - thank you."
Amelie S. and family - September 2016Steps lead down from the kitchen terrace to a series of other terraces, each equipped for lounging, getting lost in the views or playing games, such as table tennis and boules.
Near the lowest level, surrounded by a solarium and other terraces there is a heated/cooled cobalt pool with swimming current and hydromassage corner, served by a pool house with shower room.
Notice that ZΩΗ's pool, whose minimum depth is 1.5m, doesn’t allow diving, plunging nor splashing. The sea and its rocks are awaiting you for this.
Due to its terraced garden and steps, ZΩΗ can only welcome infants who do not crawl yet as well as children +7.

"A Zoé, nous avons vécu en famille une parenthèse enchantée. Dans la maison, la main trouve sans chercher tous les objets du quotidien. Chacun à sa place raconte une histoire, ravit le regard, porté une intention généreuse. Dehors, on reste à contempler la mer et le jardin extraordinaire, simplement heureux. « Là tout n’est qu’ordre et beauté, luxe, calme et volupté »."
Véronique, Jean-Luc et leur famille - Paris, mai 2018"Paxos Cliffside Home is the perfect getaway! Nestling on the cliffs high above the blue sea was like being in another world! Flora is super efficient and a great cook and Sophie’s mindfulness session was so relaxing! Thank you for a heavenly half-term holiday! We'll be back soon!"
Martin L. and family - London, June 2017"A perfect holiday, even better than we remembered from last year. We will have so many wonderful memories to tell our baby. The best possible first swimming pool to swim in. Flora made everything so easy and wonderful too, we cannot wait to come back."
David M. and family - June 2017Relax under its ancient olive grove, breathe and walk along its scented paths bordered by dry-stone walls, visit its picturesque villages, swim in crystal waters by amazing beaches, snorkel in transparent deep blue grottoes, be thrilled by memorable sunsets over its white cliffs, enjoy the intimate atmosphere of its bars and tavernas. Gaios, historic Venetian harbour, is the capital. It is naturally guarded by two picturesque islands.
Lakka, at the northern tip of the island is a pretty village with a turquoise horseshoe-shaped harbour.
Loggos is a small village on the East coast. It is considered the most beautiful harbour of the island and one of the most attractive in Greece.
Magazia is the nearest village to ZΩΗ. It is a “purely Greek” small village at the center of the island.
There are a lot of beautiful beaches on the East coast.
West coast can be explored by boat or on foot.
Snorkeling in Paxos blue caves is a unique experience. According to Greek mythology, if lucky, you may also bump into Poseidon and Amphitrite, everliving gods of the seas who chose the island of Paxos for their amazing sunsets!
Nearest beaches: Kaki Lagada less than 5 mins drive
Eremitis: 5 mins drive plus a short (steep) walk
Nearest shops and taverna: 500/800m in Magazia

Paxos is the smallest of the seven Ionian Islands, less than 9 km long and almost 4 km across. A channel of 11 km separates it from Corfou’s southern tip.
You will certainly go for a tour of the island by renting a boat in Gaios, Loggos or Lakka. Snorkeling will be natural but you may like to enjoy scuba diving from one of the two centers on the island. Kayaking to discover beaches and caves is a wonderful experience.
Trekking all along the footpaths will allow you to visit small churches, wild landscapes and enchanting seaviews. You may prefer to rent bikes, e-bikes or quad bikes to wander around Paxos
Tasting mediterranean cusine and sipping your favorite drink will help you to relax at the ports of Lakka, Gaios and Loggos. Magazia, a few steps away from ZΩΗ is a small all-year-long beating heart village.
You will obviously be provided with some of our favourite activities and places to go.
From May until late October there are direct flights to Corfu from most European airports between November to April it's necessary to fly to Athens and then onto Corfu.
skyscanner.net will show you the way.
A taxi to the new Port will drive you to the ferry boat or to a sea taxi.
Trip from Corfu to Paxos lasts around 1 hour.
We will be happy to help arranging your trip. Once on Paxos your car/scooter will be waiting for you at the port if you have rented one. You will then easily get to ZΩΗ.
